About

Once upon a time there was a couple in Nebraska looking for a mid century modern home. Few and far between in that part of the country, they purchased a 1975 brick ranch style house, determined to make it their mid century modern dream world. The process has been slow, starting with structural and foundation stuff.

That was us. As we have begun to get into the fun phase, the phase that lets us transform our humble abode into our MCM abode, we realized this was work. It was taking a lot of work. It takes multiple trips to multiple vintage and antique dealerships, searching for the diamond in the rough.

“Why can’t there just be one place to go search?” we wondered, “It has to be easier than this.” One place. One place we could search both locally and afar for mid century modern and vintage furniture and accessories. We enjoy the hunt, to be sure, but a young family with a lot on our plate, the convenience of going to a particular site to would be ideal.

This is where Viniture entered into the picture. We couldn’t find it, so why not build it? To steal a line from a well-known movie, “Build it and they will come.” So we’ve built it, we’re hoping you’ll come. We’re hoping you’ll see the value that we’ve already begun to see. We’re hoping you’ll find what you love, and spread the love both at the same time.

We’re passionate about this era. We’re passionate about finding the unique pieces that not everyone has, but fit our style. We’re also passionate about learning, and we’re passionate about helping others. Hopefully that comes through. We’re looking forward to going on this journey with you and welcome any feedback you have.

Please contact us at any time with questions, feedback, and/or suggestions.
